Who we are

The Goa School is a social impact enterprise and is not on the lookout for profit. We reinvest any money that we earn back into the work we do, and make our accounts transparent.

We are a group of like-minded people who want to make a difference to the lives of young changemakers in India, by creating learning and growth within sustainable communities.

We work like a tiny start up, with a founder-director, an operations person, a student management intern and a general assistant. We also have a lovely group of advisors who steer us, and some excellent volunteers who help take care of the business end of things, as part of their own give-back project.

We call ourselves The Goa School because we are founded in Goa, India.

Joost van Roon | “I support The Goa School as it is a fantastic platform to build an Indian – European network, share common competencies and develop actionable new business ideas with enthusiastic people.” Joost is an experienced entrepreneur who managed several international companies in Europe, Asia and the Middle East.

Please note that The Goa School is not a ‘school’ for children. It provides technical training in a variety of subjects to adult learners.
